MEDICARE PLANS
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
After November 8, 2025, Ken Locke and Associates, LLC will no longer market, sell or assist in new stand-alone Part D plan enrollments or inquiries. This is due to recent changes to insurance company contracts and distribution as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act. We will continue to work with existing clients on managing their Part D benefits for 2026. For assistance with your Part D plan, call 1-800-MEDICARE or go to Medicare.gov to self-administer your individual Part D enrollment after November 8, 2025.
This DOES NOT affect Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage Plans. We will continue to offer new enrollments and process renewals for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans.

Medicare Supplement
-
Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap plans, are sold by private insurance companies to help cover out-of-pocket costs associated with Original Medicare (Parts A and B).
-
These plans help pay for costs like coinsurance, copays, and some deductibles.
-
Additional riders can help cover emergency medical coverage when leaving the U.S., Part B Excess Fees and Additional Home Health Care.
-
While Medigap plans don't include prescription drug coverage, you can purchase a separate Part D plan for your medications

Medicare Advantage
-
Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Part C, are offered by private companies approved by Medicare. They provide an alternative to Original Medicare (Parts A and B) and many plans include prescription drug coverage (Part D).
-
These plans bundle together hospital, medical, and often prescription drug coverage, potentially offering extra benefits not found in Original Medicare such as Dental and Routine Vision.

Hospital Indemnity Plans
-
Hospital Indemnity insurance pays a cash benefit for each day you’re confined to the hospital.
-
Some plans may add more protection for certain medical services at an affordable cost. With optional riders available, you can create a customized plan to ensure you have the best protection for your specific situation.
-
Examples of additional riders include:
-
Ambulance
-
Skilled Nursing Facility
-
Outpatient Physical Therapy
-
Lump Sum Cancer
-
-
Can be purchased to help reimburse larger copays typical with many Medicare Advantage plans.
